At the Center for Periodontics & Implant Dentistry our focus starts with you, our patients. Dr. Barry P Levin emphasizes patient care as his priority and he does so by continuing his education in the field of Periodontics.

If you don’t know Dr. Barry Levin he is a board certified dental implant specialist who started his education at Temple University School of Dental Medicine. He earned his certificate in Periodontics from the University of Maryland and has been on staff at the University of Pennsylvania Periodontal and Dental Implant Surgery Department since 1996. He continues his education by not only learning the latest techniques for the betterment of his patients, but also shares what he learns by publishing and lecturing topics pertaining to dental implantology and periodontics to both national and international audiences.

Dr. Barry Levin is a periodontist at the top of his field. With many awards and accolades to his credit Dr. Levin is a highly respected figure in the industry. He recently branched out and opened a brand new state-of-the-art facility in a new location in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, with eight operatories, designated for hygiene, nonsurgical procedures, and those that are equipped for surgical treatment, including IV sedation. The new facility is also equipped with the latest technology including digital radiography, CBCT scanning, and an advanced sterilization center for patient safety and comfort. It also has a private consultation room for detailed explanations and Q & A appointments for his patients.

Of course it takes more than one person to run an entire dental practice. Our office manager, Jennifer Scamuffa, leads our team of two dental hygienists, three surgical assistants and two front desk team members. She is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and manages the daily business of the practice as well as performs patient consultations.
